Choose Forgiveness and you will choose life and peace
Jesus, in His model prayer, tells us to ask the Father to forgive us exactly the same way as we forgive others. So He does.
What's the basic requirement to receive forgiveness for a sin? You must admit that the sin is your sin, not someone else's sin. You can only be forgiven of your sins. Any sin that you consider to be someone else's sin (in part or in full) will stick around to haunt you until you take ownership of it
